The process of stretch forming originated in the aerospace field and is achieved by applying uniform pressure to each end of the metal, stretching it across a radiused die. The act of applying the correct pressure and stretching the metal maintains a smooth radius across the arc, avoiding wrinkles and other imperfections that are unsightly and impede function.

Today, stretch forming is used in a wide variety of products, including architecture, aerospace, automotive, marine, and industrial applications. Common architectural applications include windows, curtainwall and storefront, canopies, entryways, helical staircases, skylights, and many, many more.

We can form a wide variety of metals, including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, brass, bronze, and copper.
