Metal Fabrication: CNC, Welding & Assembly
From CNC machining to parts made by hand, Mid-Am does it all. A modular approach to fabrication lets us mobilize quickly for very different scopes of work.
Fabrication usually rounds out our other work — paint, brake metal, stretch forming and water jet cutting. The aim is simple: fewer vendors on your job, and fewer trips between them.
CNC machining
We run multiple CNC machines, in both four- and five-axis versions. They cut, notch, drill and machine with the accuracy and repeatability of a program — and our 5-axis software can even machine certain curved profiles.
Welding
In-house MIG and TIG welding of both aluminum and steel, with grinding and polishing to finish.
We now also offer laser welding: a narrow, precise weld that puts far less heat into the part, so thin and visible pieces stay flat and clean with less finishing afterward.
Assembly
Small and large assemblies, ready to install — from simple components to complex assemblies with insulation and sealants. Large work can be assembled complete in our plant to prove the fit, then match-marked, kitted and shipped for field assembly.
Custom fabrication
Our name for the one-off, intricate pieces that take outside-the-box thinking, not just long runs of simple parts.
